Live interview page
The Live interview page lets you review all live interviews that you have permission to access, as well as perform actions such as begin an interview, forward or cancel an interview, and add participants to live interviews.
You can access the Live interview page from your Hirevue Dashboard. On your Hirevue Dashboard, scroll down to the Resources section, and then click the Live tab. Icons appear with each available Live interview type. Click any icon to open the associated page.
This image displays the Live video interview page. Areas of the page where you can perform actions are highlighted and described below.
1 - Display interviews by type
Displays interviews by interview type (Live Video, Live Voice, or In Person). When you click an interview type tab, the Live page refreshes to filter out all interviews except the selected type. For example, you can click the Live Video Interviews tab to display only live video interviews.
By default, the page filters out all interviews except those shown on the first solution tab. You can click the setting icon () to change the order of the solution tabs, thereby changing the default view.
2 - Start the interview
Brings you to the interview foyer, where you can join the selected interview.
3 - Forward interview to hiring managers (send for review)
Lets you send a live interview to a colleague or hiring manager. Depending on system configuration, recipients of a forwarded interview may not need to be logged into the system in order to review the interview and provide feedback.
When you send an interview for review, you enter the email of the recipient(s) and optional message, and then click Forward. Recipients can click the interview link within the email invitation to review the recorded interview (if applicable) and/or submit their feedback about candidates that participated in a live interview. Once submitted, recipients can not edit or delete their review unless you reset it.
4 - Cancel the interview and notify participants
Cancels the selected interview. When you cancel an interview, Hirevue sends a cancellation email to all interview participants and changes the status of the interview to "Canceled".
5 - Add new participants to the interview using their email address
Lets you add one or more participant(s) to a scheduled live interview with their email address. When you select this option, Hirevue sends an email invitation to the new participant, and also adds them to the Participants area of the live interview page.
6 - Filter by column values
Lets you filter the records by any value. For example, if you type "S" in the Candidate filter field, the application displays all records where the candidate name contains an "S" (Mary Smith, Sam Sample, John Marks, etc.). If you type "Smi" in the Candidate filter field, the application displays all records where the candidate name contains the "Smi" string (Mary Smith). In order for records to appear in the filter, the records must contain the exact string of letters and/or numbers typed into the filter field, in the order in which they are typed.
