Builder is an interview creation tool that allows recruiters to build effective interviews by efficiently identifying the best questions for each interview stage. Builder delivers access to Hirevue’s robust library of questions created by a dedicated team of industrial-organizational psychologists. Recruiters will benefit from the increased standardization, consistency, and objectivity that Builder-suggested questions offer while they create various interview stages.

Builder includes smart search options to quickly deliver the right questions to recruiters, increasing their ability to find outstanding candidates. These proprietary search options find the correct job using common, user-friendly job roles instead of the confusing, government-standard job titles recruiters may be used to seeing. When you have Builder licensed, you can:

Use smart search functions to find questions for industry-specific job roles to build effective interview guides.
Receive recommend stage-specific questions for on-demand and live interviews, regardless of medium: web/video, phone, text, or in-person.
Filter suggested questions by Competencies, Prescreen, and Skills & Experience categories.
Select and add recommended questions to a stage directly from Builder.

Questions added to a stage from Builder appear under the stage's Interview Questions settings. From here, you can read, re-order, or delete each question.

Note: The content of Builder questions can't be edited. However, once added to an on-demand web/video stage, a question's answer response type can be changed to suit your needs. Questions can't be added directly to Builder, but you can create and store custom questions in your Question Library. For more information, see Question Library.
