My availability
You, and every user in Hirevue, have an individual Hirevue calendar. Your Hirevue calendar displays the Hirevue interviews in which you are scheduled to participate, as well as any times you have reserved to attend interviews or events.
To access your Hirevue calendar, click the My Availability link in the Resources section of the Dashboard.
See an example of the My Availability page.
Calendar availability
Your calendar displays both your availability for future interviews, as well as interviews that are currently schedule and that you are scheduled to attend.
Expand the following links for more information about how available time is marked and displayed on your calendar.
Current interviews
When you are scheduled for a Hirevue interview, that interview appears on both your Hirevue calendar and your corporate calendar. The time is marked as unavailable for future interviews or candidate self-scheduling.
Available time
You can click and drag time blocks on your calendar to make that time available for candidates when self-scheduling interviews. When you block off available time on your calendar, that time is shown as available on your calendar for all events to which you are assigned. This time is taken into consideration when Hirevue schedules interview times for all events.
Hirevue also sends a calendar hold for this time to your corporate calendar to prevent double-booking. If an interviewer declines or modifies the hold on their corporate calendar, the corresponding availability is removed from the interviewer's Hirevue calendar.
Recurring time
Recurring time is an available time block that you want to repeat each week on the same day and time until a defined end date. You can click the recurring time icon on any available time block in your calendar to set the time as recurring or to modify any existing recurrences.
When you set time as recurring, you define the end date for the recurrence by specifying either the:
- Date on which you want the recurring time to end.
- Number of recurrences after which you want to end the recurring time.
Once defined, the recurring time block is copied to your calendar on the same day and time each week for which it is active. If you choose to edit or delete an available time block that is part of a recurring series, a window appears, asking whether you want to change:
Only the selected time block
When you select this option, the selected time block will no longer be part of the recurrence. This means that if you make changes to the recurring time series in the future, the selected time block will no longer be affected. It will be considered a non-recurring time.
The selected time block and all future time blocks in the series
When you select this option, the selected time block and all time blocks that remain in the recurrence will be updated. Time blocks that occurred prior to the selected time will be unaffected. If you make any future changes to the new recurrence, then only those time blocks that were affected by this change will be updated.
All time blocks in the series
When you select this option, the selected time block, as well as all time blocks in the recurrence, will be updated. This is an appropriate option if you are changing a future time block in the series, but want to make sure that all time blocks both before and after that time block are updated.
