Cancel or reschedule live interviews
If you decide that an interview time you scheduled will no longer work, you can use the Candidate Details panel to either cancel or reschedule the interview.
When you cancel or reschedule a live interview, the candidate and interviewers receive a confirmation email notifying them of either the new date/time or the cancellation.
Note: You cannot cancel or reschedule live interviews once the scheduled time for the interview has passed.
To cancel or reschedule a live interview
If you have not already done so, open the Candidate Details panel for the candidate whose interview you want to cancel or reschedule
- Click Jobs on the main Hirevue menu bar.
- On the Jobs page, click the job that you want to open. The job opens in the Job Summary view.
- On the Progress Bar, select the live interview stage for the interview you want to cancel or reschedule.
- On the candidate card for the candidate, click the action menu
, and then select View Candidate Details.
- If you want to:
- Reschedule the interview, then click Reschedule. The Schedule Interview page appears, where you can revise the date and time for the interview. When you revise and save the interview, Hirevue sends the candidate and participants new calendar invitations that reflect the new date/time.
- Cancel the interview, then click Cancel. Hirevue sends email cancellation notices to the candidate and participants. The candidate card within the interview stage displays a status of Canceled with the date on which the interview was canceled.
