On-demand interview page
The On-Demand Interview page lets you review all on-demand interviews that you have permission to access, as well as perform actions such as forward an interview, reset an interview countdown, or schedule a live interview for candidates.
You can access the On-Demand Interview page from your Hirevue Dashboard. On your Hirevue Dashboard, scroll down to the Resources section, and then click the On-Demand tab. Icons appear with each available On-Demand interview type. Click any icon to open the associated page.
This image displays the On-Demand video interview page. Areas of the page where you can perform actions are highlighted and described below.
1 - Display interviews by type
Displays interviews by On-Demand interview type (video, voice, or text). When you click an interview type tab, the page refreshes to filter out all interviews except the selected type. For example, you can click the Video tab to display only On-Demand video interviews.
By default, the page filters out all interviews except those shown on the first solution tab. You can click the setting icon () to change the order of the solution tabs, thereby changing the default view.
2 - Send interview for review to hiring managers
Lets you send a selected interview to hiring managers or interviewers. Depending on your system configuration, recipients of a sent interview may not need to be logged into the system in order to review the interview and provide feedback.
When you send an interview, you enter the email of the recipient(s), and then optionally click the Advanced tab to set permissions and specify the interview elements that you want to share. You can use this tab to specify the:
- Documents that you want to send to reviewers (for example, resume, reference, cover letter, or other).
- Questions that you want to send to reviewers. You can select which questions that you want to send to reviewers, and which you want to omit.
- Date by which all reviews must be submitted.
- Password that reviewers must enter in order to access the interview.
- Date on which you want the interview to expire. After this date, reviewers will not be able to use the link to access the interview.
3 - Reset countdown if using a submission deadline
A submission deadline is the number of hours within which candidates must complete their interview (for example, 24, 48, or 72 hours). Applications can be configured to start the countdown at different points in the interview (for example, when candidates view the contact information page or when they log into their interview). For questions about how this option functions in your application, contact your system administrator.
You can click the Reset countdown... button to reset the countdown if a candidate does not complete their interview within the allotted time. For more information about how set a submission deadline for an interview, see Create jobs.
4 - Schedule a live interview
Lets you schedule a live interview for selected candidates. You can use this option to move successful candidates to a subsequent live interview stage if you know the date/time on which you want to schedule the interview.
5 - Send candidate a self-schedule request
Lets you send a request for candidates to participate in a live interview using Scheduling Assistant. Candidates that receive this request can select from a list of available time slots to schedule their interview.
6 - Filter grid by column values
Lets you filter the records in the grid by any value. For example, if you type "S" in the Candidate filter field, the application displays all records where the candidate name contains an "S" (Mary Smith, Sam Sample, John Marks, etc.). If you type "Smi" in the Candidate filter field, the application displays all records where the candidate name contains the "Smi" string (Mary Smith). In order for records to appear in the filter, the records must contain the exact string of letters and/or numbers typed into the filter field, in the order in which they are typed.
7 - Perform additional tasks with On-Demand interviews
Provides access to menu options where you can perform additional actions:
- Compare: Compare selected On-Demand interviews. When you select two or more interviews and click this button, a new page appears, displaying each interview in a separate tab. To view messages that you send using this feature, click the header menu, open your profile (your name) and then click Messages.
