Hiring Managers play a focused role within Hirevue, primarily centered on candidate evaluation. Their level of access is designed to be straightforward, ensuring they can efficiently review the specific candidates shared with them by the recruiting team.
- Email Notification: When candidates are shared with Hiring Managers to review, they receive an automated email notification containing a direct link to evaluate the candidate.
- Evaluation: By clicking the "See responses" link in the email, Hiring Managers gain immediate access to start the review and evaluation process.
The Hiring Manager Dashboard
In Hirevue, Hiring Managers have access to a centralized dashboard. This interface provides a broader view of their evaluation activities:
- The Review Page: Hiring Managers can view a complete list of all candidates currently shared with them in one location.
- Status Tracking, Filtering, & Sorting: The Review page allows Hiring Managers to see at a glance which candidates have already been evaluated, which reviews are still pending, and use the columns to easily filter and sort candidates.
- Starting Evaluations: From the Review page, clicking the bubble icon next to a candidate’s name launches the evaluation interface.
- Availability Management: Hiring Managers can also access the My Availability page to assist with live interview scheduling.
Note: In some applications, the Hiring Manager Dashboard may be disabled. In this instance, Hiring Managers do not have access to the Review page or the "My Availability" page. Instead, their access is focused exclusively on the individual candidates forwarded to them via email links.
FAQs:
- Hiring managers can only view their assigned candidate's interviews until reviewed by them; they do not have access to other candidate records or functionality within Hirevue. Once reviewed, Hiring Managers can no longer see the candidate's submission.
- If hiring managers are invited to live interviews, they can always access review tools from within their email invitation; they do not need to be invited to review.
