Supported languages
Supported languages are languages in which Hirevue elements (such as email templates, application pages, and SMS text messages) can be displayed.
The Hirevue application is developed in English, and then translated and localized in multiple supported languages. The following table lists the languages currently supported within Hirevue, and the localized name that appears in language selection menus within the application.

Selecting and Using Supported Languages
By default, all supported languages are available for selection and use within Hirevue. However, you can reduce or limit the supported languages available for user selection in your application.
If a user's browser is set to display in a supported language, then Hirevue automatically displays all application pages in the browser language. If the browser language is not supported, then Hirevue displays application pages in the default language of the application. For more information about how Hirevue uses language settings, see Language Hierarchy.
Regardless of browser language settings, users can click their Profile (Name) drop-down menu on the main HireVue menu to select the supported language that they want to use when displaying application pages.

In addition, when licensed for their application, recruiters can use the Language field within the Create Job page to select the job-specific language that they want to use in email communications with candidates, hiring managers, and other interview participants. When this feature is licensed and recruiters select a job-specific language, then all emails and SMS text communications (if applicable) appear in the selected language, regardless of the recruiter's language settings.
Note: If a client application uses custom email templates (for example, to include client-specific branding or content), then all templates within all languages designated for use in that application must also be set to custom. This ensures that the application will use the correct templates for each language in the application.
