Candidate self-scheduling
Candidate self-scheduling is an automated scheduling method that links candidates to a self-scheduling page, where they can select the available interview date and time slots that work for them. Candidate self-scheduling methods require that participants provide their available time slots before self-scheduling requests are sent to candidates.
Candidate self-scheduling lets you offer candidates the flexibility of scheduling live interviews at their convenience, without recruiter intervention.
How it works
When you define a scheduling method for a live stage, you can select Hirevue sends candidates an invitation to self-schedule to indicate you want to use candidate self-scheduling for that stage. You can then select from the following self-scheduling methods:
-
Simple - one participant: Use Scheduling Assistant to schedule live interviews with a single participant and the candidate. While creating your live stage, you can use the Schedule Details panel to select how you want to schedule candidates for their interview.
For more information, see Scheduling assistant.
-
Advanced - one or more participants, complex schedules: Use Event Manager to schedule live interviews between one or more candidates and participants. When you create an event, you can request that participants provide the dates and times on which they are available to participate in interviews. Candidates can then select from those available times to schedule interviews at their convenience, without recruiter intervention. Updates that you make to the event take place in real time, ensuring that candidates are always selecting from the most current time slots.
