Realistic Job Previews
Realistic Job Previews are configurable presentations that you add to on-demand web/video interview stages to provide candidates with information about the job for which they are interviewing. Realistic Job Previews are comprised of one or more pages, each of which can contain text, image, audio, and/or video elements that, together, tell a story about your company and a specific job role within your organization. You can use Realistic Job Previews to provide candidates with information such as:
- An overview of the company culture.
- What it takes to be successful in the job.
- Challenges faced by those in the job.
- Exciting and motivating aspects of the job.
Goals of a Realistic Job Preview
Realistic Job Previews are a great way for candidates to learn about the job. Candidates applying to a job may not know much about the organization or the role. Realistic Job Previews are your opportunity to help inform candidates about the things that you think are the most important and impactful. You can use the Realistic Job Preview to encourage candidates to continue with the application process if it's a good fit for them, or educate them about ways in which it might not be a good fit, if that's the case.
The biggest jump in turnover will occur in the first few weeks on the job as a result of candidates realizing the position is not a good fit. The Realistic Job Preview can help counteract that. See the following video for more information about how Realistic Job Previews can achieve this goal.

Realistic Job Preview benefits
Realistic Job Previews let you highlight what makes your company a great place to work and what people enjoy about working in the job, as well as what makes the job challenging, all from within the candidate on-demand web/video interview experience.
A well-crafted, honest, and thoughtful Realistic Job Preview is one way to ensure that candidates leave the interview experience with a positive impression of your brand. Realistic Job Previews help candidates decide if the job is a good fit for them prior to accepting an offer, which can reduce dropout of top candidates and turnover for candidates who accept the job.

How it works
System administrators use an intuitive workflow within the client application to create Realistic Job Previews using images, audio, video, and text. When complete, administrators can publish Realistic Job Previews to make them available for selection by recruiters as they build on-demand web/video stages within jobs. Stages that contain a Realistic Job Preview display that Realistic Job Preview to candidates as part of the on-demand web/video experience.
Expand the following links to learn more about how Realistic Job Previews are created, used, and viewed within on-demand web/video stages.
