Reminders

Reminders are email or text messages that Hirevue sends to candidates reminding them to:

• Complete their on-demand video, voice, or text interview.
• Attend their live video, voice, or in person interview.

Reminders differ for on-demand and live interviews.

• On-Demand Interviews: If reminders are enabled for on-demand interviews, and candidates have not submitted their interview within 24 hours of the initial interview request, Hirevue sends an automated email reminding candidates to submit their interview. By default, the amount of time after which email reminders are sent is 24 hours. However, this value may vary for your organization.
• Live Interviews: When using reminders for live interviews, you can define the number of days prior to a candidate's interview that you want Hirevue to send a reminder email. You can also write a custom message to send to candidates with the reminder.

When you enable reminders for on-demand interviews, you can also request that individuals on the distribution list receive a notification when reminders are sent.

Reminders Settings

On-demand interviews

Select the Remind candidates.... checkbox to enable reminders. If the candidate has not submitted their interview within 24 hours of the initial interview request, Hirevue sends an automated email reminding candidates to submit their interview or notifying the distribution list that the candidate has not yet completed their interview.

Live interviews

Select the Remind candidates... checkbox to enable reminders, and then enter the number of days prior to the candidate's interview that you want Hirevue to send a reminder email. 

In the text editor area, type a message that you want to include in the body of the reminder email. You can use this message to remind candidates of their interview, provide additional instructions, or include additional details about the interview.

Note: Best practice is to set this value to 1 or 2.
