Clone job templates
You can quickly create new job templates by cloning, or copying, existing job templates. When you clone a job template, Hirevue creates a copy of that template, retaining all of the interview stages and settings of the original template, with the exception of requisition number.
You can keep the interview stages and settings you want to retain, and only change elements that are specific to the new template.
For example, let's say you have a job template with one on-demand video screen stage. You want to create a new job template that includes that screen and all associated questions and configurations, but you also want to add a live voice interview stage to it. You can simply clone the one-stage job template, rename it, and then add the additional interview stage.
To clone a job template
- On the main Hirevue menu bar, click Jobs and then from the drop down menu, select Job Templates.
- On the Job Templates page, select the template that you want to clone, and then click Clone Job Template.
-
On the Clone Job Template page, enter or edit the following:
Title (Required)Name of the job template that you are adding.
Job Requisition (Recommended or Required, based on your application's configuration)
Client-specific requisition identifier (ID) associated with the job template. This value must be unique to this job template, and is only visible to HireVue users.
- Click Save & Continue. The new job template opens in the Job Summary view. For more information, see Job summary.
