Job templates page
The Jobs Templates page provides a single view of all of the job templates that you have permission to view in Hirevue. You can use this page to view job template details, edit or create job templates, or clone existing templates. To access the jobs template page, from the main menu bar, click Jobs, and then select Job Templates.
The following image displays an example Jobs page. Refer to the numbered links below the image for more information about each area.
1 - Create job template
Opens the Create Job template page, where you can add a new job template to Hirevue. Once you add a job template, you can configure settings specific to the interview stages that you include in the template. See Create job templates.
2 - Create job from template
Lets you create a new job based on an existing job template. When you create a job using a predefined template, all of the interview stages and related settings for that job are already defined.
As a result, instead of spending time customizing the job, you can begin to immediately invite candidates to the predefined stages. See Create jobs using job templates.
3 - Clone job template
Lets you create a new job template by cloning, or copying, an existing template. When you clone a job template, HireVue creates a copy of that template, retaining all of the interview stages and settings of the original template, with the exception of requisition number.
You can keep the interview stages and settings you want to retain, and only change elements that are specific to the new template. See Clone job templates.
4 - Action menu
Lets you perform any of the following actions:
Note: Available options may vary based on user permissions.
Reassign recruiter
Opens a window where you can select a new recruiter to assign to the job template. The recruiter associated with the job template will be assigned to any interviews that are generated through candidate self-scheduling.
Archive/unarchive
Lets you archive active job templates, or unarchive job templates that were previously archived. If you are viewing:
- Unarchived job templates, then the Archive option is visible, allowing you to archive selected job templates.
- Archived job templates, then the Unarchive option is visible, allowing you to add archived job templates back to the Job Templates page.
View archived/view unarchived
Displays job templates that have been archived or unarchived. If you are viewing:
- Archived job templates, then the View Unarchived option is visible, allowing you to view all unarchived job templates.
- Unarchived job templates, then the View Archived option is visible, allowing to view all archived job templates.
Export all columns
Exports data from all columns (visible and hidden) in the selected grid to a .csv file and downloads it to your computer.
Export visible columns
Exports data from all visible columns in the selected grid to a .csv file and downloads it to your computer.
Edit columns
Opens a window where you can select additional columns to add to the data grid. To remove columns from the grid, click the down arrow in the upper right of each column, and then from the drop-down, select Hide Column.
Reset columns
Resets the displayed columns to default settings.
5 - Filter and sort
Lets you filter the records in the job templates grid by any value. For example, if you type "S" in the Name filter field, the application displays all records where the job name contains an "S" (Seasonal Warehouse, Campus Job, Client Success, etc.). If you type "Sea" in the Name filter field, the application displays all records where the job name contains the "Sea" string (Seasonal Warehouse). In order for records to appear in the filter, the records must contain the exact string of letters and/or numbers typed into the filter field, in the order in which they are typed.
6 - Edit job template
Opens the job template in edit mode, where you can configure interview stages and add, change, or delete values for any of the available fields.
