Jobs page
The Jobs page provides a single view of all of the jobs that you have permission to view in Hirevue. You can use this page to view job details, edit or create jobs, or even send on-demand interview invitations. To access the jobs page, from the main menu bar, click Jobs.
Note: Options available to you on the Jobs page are dependent on your application permissions. For information about the permissions configured for you in your application, see your HireVue administrator.
The following image displays an example Jobs page. Refer to the numbered links below the image for more information about each area.
1 - Create job
Opens the Create Job page, where you can add a new job to HireVue. Once you add a job, you can configure settings specific to the interview stages that you include in the job. See Create jobs.
2 - Request on-demand
Generate an on-demand interview request for the selected job. Select a job and then click Request On-Demand to be prompted to select an interview type (on-demand video, voice, or text), and candidates. Once you've made your selections, you can send your request.
3 - Convert job to template
Converts the selected job to a job template. Once converted, the job is removed from the Jobs grid, and appears in the Job Templates grid, where you can use it to quickly create new jobs.
4 - Action menu
Lets you perform any of the following actions:
Note: Available options may vary based on user permissions.
Clone job
Creates a copy of the selected job and saves it in the Jobs grid. When you clone a job, you copy everything (except the Job Requisition) from the original job into the new job. After providing the title and requisition number for the new job, you can then edit it as needed. For more information, see Clone jobs.
Import job
Lets you import an .xml file that was previously exported from HireVue. You cannot import media files. Therefore, any video or audio associated with the exported jobs must be re-recorded after they are imported.
Export job
Exports an .xml file with all active job data that you can import into another HireVue application. When you export jobs, the system does not export media files. Therefore, any video or audio associated with the jobs must be re-recorded after they are imported.
Forward job
Forwards an email link that provides access to all unarchived, submitted on-demand interviews for a job. You can forward a job to hiring managers and other recipients to provide access to all interviews and candidates associated with the job at any time. Hiring managers can use the forwarded email link throughout the interview process to:
- Review and rate interviews associated with the job
- Review documents and additional candidate information.
- Add notes and documents of their own.
By default, recipients of forwarded interviews can view the interview without logging into the system. However, applications can be configured to require that hiring managers log in before viewing forwarded interviews. For questions about your specific configuration, contact your system administrator.
Reassign recruiter
Opens a window where you can select a new recruiter to assign to the selected job. The recruiter associated with the job will be assigned to any interviews that are generated through candidate self-scheduling.
Archive/unarchive
Lets you archive active jobs, or unarchive jobs that were previously archived. If you are viewing:
- Unarchived jobs, then the Archive option is visible, allowing you to archive selected jobs.
- Archived jobs, then the Unarchive option is visible, allowing you to add archived jobs back to the Jobs page.
View archived/view unarchived
Displays jobs that have been archived or unarchived. If you are viewing:
- Archived jobs, then the View Unarchived option is visible, allowing you to view all unarchived jobs.
- Unarchived jobs, then the View Archived option is visible, allowing to view all archived jobs.
Export all columns
Exports data from all columns (visible and hidden) in the selected grid to a .csv file and downloads it to your computer.
Export visible columns
Exports data from all visible columns in the selected grid to a .csv file and downloads it to your computer.
Edit columns
Opens a window where you can select additional columns to add to the data grid. To remove columns from the grid, click the down arrow in the upper right of each column, and then from the drop-down, select Hide Column.
Reset columns
Resets the displayed columns to default settings.
5 - Filter and sort
Lets you filter or sort the records in the jobs grid.
Filter
You can filter the records in the jobs grid by any value. For example, if you type "S" in the Name filter field, the application displays all records where the job name contains an "S" (Seasonal Warehouse, Campus Job, Client Success, etc.). If you type "Sea" in the Name filter field, the application displays all records where the job name contains the "Sea" string (Seasonal Warehouse). In order for records to appear in the filter, the records must contain the exact string of letters and/or numbers typed into the filter field, in the order in which they are typed.
Sort
You can click the down arrow next to the column headers to sort by that column. When you click the down arrow, you can use the sort menu to select one of the following options:
- Sort Ascending - Sort records by the column value in ascending order.
- Sort Descending - Sort records by the column value in descending order.
- Remove Sort - Remove any applied sort and revert to the default grid order.
- Hide Column - Hide the column from view.
6 - Edit the job
Opens the job in the Job Summary page, where you can:
- Configure interview stages.
- Add, change, or delete values for any of the available fields.
- Add candidates.
- Manage interviews.
7 - Only show my jobs
Checking this box filters the job page results to only show jobs for which you are the assigned recruiter. You can deselect the box to see all jobs you are eligible to view. If you add a different user to the Recruiter filter, the system will display both your jobs and those matching the filter criteria.
Note: The 'Only show my jobs' box is selected by default.
